She was cherished and cherished by a huge number of people, including her husband, Barteld Smit; her parents, Andries (Lammigje) and Holland; and her children, Roy, Louise Smit, Amy Ross (Bob), Andy Smit (Elizabeth), Betty Maerz (Ray), Rick Smit (Pam), and Maggie Smit (John). Barteld Smit was her husband; Andries (Lammigje) and Holland were her parents.

They will carry her memory with them always in their hearts as a legacy. In addition, she had 20 grandkids and 21 great grandchildren, all of whom cherished and revered their grandmother. Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel), which can be found at 1605 100 St SE, Calgary, Alberta T2P2G7, will have a celebration of life on Thursday, September 21st, 2023, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

The event will be held in honor of the deceased. On Thursday, September 21st, 2023, between the hours of 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM, a burial will take place at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 Street Southeast, Calgary, Alberta T2P2G7, Canada). Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Lounge), which can be found at 1605 100 St SE, Calgary, Alberta T2P2G7, will be the location of a reception that will take place on September 21st, 2023. The date of the reception is set for Thursday. The event will go from 11:30 in the morning till 1:30 in the afternoon.
