Seán’s journey in this life came to a close on the 31st of August 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He faced a brief illness with unwavering courage, strength, and bravery.

Seán was born to the late Annie Parker-Byrne and Jack Byrne, and his memory will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Janet. He was a devoted father to his cherished daughters, Jamie and Erin, and a proud grandfather to Sonny. Seán’s love and admiration extended to his siblings: Tommy, Martin, Jimmy, Mairéad, and Sharon, all of Carlow.

In addition to his immediate family, Seán leaves behind a profound legacy of love and friendship. He will be deeply missed by his daughters’ partners, Dave and John, as well as his sisters-in-law, Kathryn and Ann. His extended family members in Ireland and England, along with a wide circle of true friends, join in mourning the loss of this remarkable man.
