Robert Goodrich Obituary, Death – Robert P. Goodrich, 72 years old, passed away on July 26, 2023 at the Augusta, Maine location of the Alfond Center for Health. He was the son of Denzel and Juanita (Butzirus) Cooper and was delivered on June 27th, 1951 in the city of Bloomington, Illinois. As a result of his birth mother’s marriage to Robert D. Goodrich in 1953, he was given the name Robert P. Goodrich by his adoptive father.
Robert was a member of the class of 1968 at Bradley-Bourbonnais High School, where he earned his high school diploma.

After that, he joined the United States Army and did his best to serve his country with honor. After some time, Robert worked his way up to the position of autopsy technician in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the state of Maine. He was a hard worker who was also enthusiastic about the field in which he was employed. In addition to being a dedicated sacristan at St. Mary’s Church in Augusta for the better part of three decades, Robert attended the church for a significant portion of his life.

Robert will be remembered as a quiet man who put in a lot of effort in his career. His parents passed away before he was born. His siblings, Robin White of San Antonio, Texas, William Goodrich of San Antonio, Texas, and Eric Goodrich of Kankakee, Illinois, are among those who carry on his legacy after his passing. On Thursday, August 24, at 2:00 p.m., there will be a service held at the graveside of St. Mary’s Cemetery, which is located at Winthrop Street in Augusta, Maine 04330.
