Mount Rainier National Park – June Rosanna Heiss, who had lived in Freeland all her life, passed away at the Dove House in Westminster. She was 53 years old. n the Thursday, June 9, 1955, she was born in Baltimore. Her parents, the late Milford Heiss and Evelyn Dandy Heiss, had passed away prior to her birth. Both of her parents had already passed away before she was born.

She was employed at the firm Kelly and Associates while she was there. Throughout her entire life, she maintained her regular attendance at the Salem United Methodist Church. Those who are left behind include a daughter named Elspeth Rosanna Heiss-Moses, who lives in Freeland; a sister named Joyce Ann Heiss, who lives in Hampstead; two nephews; and one great-nephew.

Her daughter Rachel A. Heiss-Moses and her nephew Andrew Scott Hann both lost away before she did. Her son-in-law also passed away before she did. The funeral service will be presided over by the Reverend Jarrett Wicklein and will take place on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Eline Funeral Home in Hampstead, which can be found at 934 S. Main St.

The burial will take place at the Salem United Methodist Cemetery in Hampstead as the spot has been selected for this purpose. Visitation for the deceased will take place at the funeral home on Friday commencing at noon and lasting until the time of the service. The family will host the visitation.
