Peter Hinkley Jr. oBITUARY, Death – Peter Stephen Hinkley Jr., 57, of Alexandria, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2023, at Concord Hospital, Franklin, following a motorcycle accident. He was a dedicated and resourceful individual known for his exceptional mechanical skills. Born on September 18, 1965, in Norwood, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Peter S. Hinkley Sr. and Judith Hinkley-MacVicar.

He is survived by his loving mother, Jude Hinkley MacVicar, and her husband Ross, along with four sons: Peter S. Hinkley III and fiancé Kristen Ahern of Idaho, Thomas Hinkley, Mathew Hinkley, Michael Hinkley, and wife Erica, all from Massachusetts. He is also survived by a sister, Lisa Marie Donovan, and husband Brian, numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Known as “Pops” and “Papa” to his family, Peter was a true lover of life. He possessed a philanthropic spirit and an inventive mind, always ready with a joke to brighten any room. His dedication to helping others was unwavering, and he was a guiding light in many lives.

Peter was an avid enthusiast, enjoying activities such as motorcycle riding, metal detecting, fishing, stargazing, kayaking, and spending quality time with family. He played a significant role in raising his beloved granddaughter, Abby, and brought immense joy to her life.
