Peter Baumann Obituary, Elburn, Illinois, Man Killed In Accident
Peter Baumann Obituary, Death – On September 10, 2023, Peter Robert Baumann, 37, of Elburn, Illinois, passed away. In Winfield, Illinois, on February 22, 1986, he was born. Peter completed his education at Wheaton, Illinois’s St. Francis High School. With a specialty in sales management, he graduated from St. Ambrose University in 2010. With technology sales, he continued his professional business career.
Peter had a positive outlook on everything life has to offer. Through his hobbies like golf, hunting, and fishing, he felt a connection to the outdoors. His favorite part of the holidays was spending time with family, which he did every year. Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, wedding and baby showers were all celebrated by the immediate family, aunts, uncles, and innumerable cousins. His extended family and friends created wonderful memories over engaging talks, delicious food, and fine wine. Peter, a devoted Chicago sports fan, met Sarah Lang in 2017, and the two began dating while rooting for their respective teams’ Blackhawks, Bears, and Cubs.
On June 25, 2021, they exchanged vows at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Naperville. Just a few months before Maeve Elizabeth Baumann was born on April 21, 2022, Peter and Sarah decided to leave “the city behind” and purchase a home in the suburbs, specifically Elburn, Illinois. Peter was an accomplished chef and grill master. Ream’s Meat Market in Elburn rapidly became his go-to place to choose premium meats for hosting friends and family dinners.
Besides his wife Sarah Lang Baumann, their daughter Maeve Elizabeth, their dog Shadow, and his parents Robert and Laura Baumann of San Tan Valley, Arizona, Peter is also survived by his sister Anne Marie Baumann of St. Petersburg, Florida, his sister Katherine Baumann of Dublin, Ireland, and his brother Augustus Baumann of Marion, Iowa. For many, Peter was a rock and a foundation. May his generosity and joy with those he loved carry on through his eternal rest in peace.
