On August 27, 2023, Patricia, a resident of Louisville, Kentucky, departed from our midst, leaving behind a profound void in the lives of those who loved her dearly. Saying goodbye to a loved one is a moment of profound sadness and reflection, but it is also an opportunity to remember and celebrate the life that Patricia lived. Her presence in our lives was a source of joy and comfort, and her memory will continue to bring warmth to our hearts.
We invite you to join us in extending your condolences and sharing your thoughts and memories in the guestbook, which you can find on this memorial page dedicated to Patricia Ann Richardson. Your messages of support and love will be a great comfort to her grieving family during this challenging time. Patricia’s journey was intertwined with the lives of those who preceded her in passing: her grandparents, Charles F. Woods Sr. and Margaret F. Woods, and her grandson, Jeremy Kennedy. While they may no longer be with us, their spirits live on in our hearts, just as Patricia’s will.
She is survived by her beloved husband, William Richardson Sr., who stood by her side through life’s joys and challenges. Patricia’s legacy also lives on through her grandchildren, William Richardson Jr., Shawnnesa Richardson, Ernesia Richardson, and LuShawnda Smith. Additionally, her great-grandchildren, Mei’Khi Toogood, Keeng Russell, Kayleigh Smith, A’Nyli McFarland, and Divine Davis, will carry forward her memory and love. In addition to her family, Patricia leaves behind her siblings, Charles Woods Jr., Barbara Glenn (Craig), Carolyn Woods, and Linda Young. Together, they share the memories of a life well-lived and the bonds of a family that will forever be connected.
Visitation to remember and honor Patricia took place at the Greater Friendship Baptist Church (2325 Osage Ave, Louisville, KY 40210) on Friday, September 1st, 2023, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
