Michael “Mike” Ribolla Obituary, Death – R. Michael “Mike” Ribolla, who was 79 years old at the time of his death on September 3, 2023, died away with his family at his side. In Huntington, New York, on July 3, 1944, he was brought into the world by his parents, Danilo Ribolla and Gloria (Fogg) Ribolla. In 1972, he tied the knot with Jan (Finfrock) Ribolla. They have recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.
In 1973, Mike received his degree in global management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He earned a member of the American College of Medical Group Administrators after gaining experience in the role of medical group administrator in offices located in and around Terre Haute, Indianapolis, and the South Bend region. Later in life, he served as a career counselor at Goodwill and the South Bend Center for the Homeless.
He considered it a personal success if one of his pupils was offered a job via either of these organizations. Mike’s interests were vintage automobiles, adventure travel, and quality time with his grandkids. His family and friends will remember him for his boundless generosity, his quick wit, and his infectious laugh long after he is gone.
Mike is survived by his wife Jan, sons Joshua Ribolla and James Ribolla, both of whom are married to Christine, sisters Didi Harmon and Timi Lewis, grandkids James, Dominic, Ada, and Maggie, and a large number of nieces and nephews. His mother and father, as well as his brothers Pete, Bob, and Tom, all passed away before he did. A ceremony to be performed at the gravesite on September 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Donations to the Community Organization for Drug Abuse of the Wabash Valley or the Food Bank of Northern Indiana might be sent in place of flowers.
