Dave, who had been her spouse, had already passed away when she passed suddenly. Her siblings that are still alive are Al Penner, who is married to Judy, Norman Penner, who is married to Lorraine, Rick Penner, who is married to Karen, Maryann Froese, who is married to Harry, and Laura Neufeld. All of her siblings are married to their respective spouses. Furthermore, she is survived by members of her extended family in addition to others who were close to her.

On September 4th, 2023, at 10:30 in the morning, there will be a funeral service held in the Hague Cemetery. This will take place on September 4th.
