Ken Morton Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Ken Morton

Ken Morton Obituary, Death – With permission from Diane Bradbury. It is with deep regret that we must let the Toolern Vale Community know that Ken Morton passed away on September 7th. Our hearts go out to everyone in the community. Ken was a devoted long-time resident of Toolern Vale and a community member who pitched in wherever he was needed and was happy to roll up his sleeves and work hard to assist in any way he could. Ken had lived in Toolern Vale for many years.
Ken served as President of the Toolern Vale School Council and as a member of the School Council for a number of years. He was also a member of the Toolern Vale Fire Brigade and held the rank of 4th Lieutenant during the Ash Wednesday fires. Ken was a hardworking member of the Toolern Vale Country Fair Committee in the 1980s, which raised money for the School, Fire Brigade, Kindergarten, and Tennis Club. Ken always undertook the difficult work of accounting and bookkeeping for the Fair. In the 1980s, the committee raised money for the School, Fire Brigade, Kindergarten, and Tennis Club.
His tireless efforts, as well as his support of the Fire Brigade and the Community, will be gratefully acknowledged for all time. Despite the fact that Ken and his wife had relocated from Toolern Vale to their new house in Eynesbury, he continued to take a significant amount of interest in the surrounding community. Our sincerest condolences go out to his beloved wife June, their three children Sharon, Bradley, and Scott (who is a current member of the Toolern Vale Fire Brigade), as well as their son and daughter-in-law, Darren, Dianne, and Melanie, and his nine cherished grandchildren. Although they are no longer in our presence, they will never be forgotten in so many different aspects of life.
