June Johns Obituary, Death – June Johns, who resided in Manhattan, Kansas, and went away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving behind family and friends to mourn, has passed away, and in sharing this news with you, we want to express our most sincere sympathies. Her husband James Lincoln Johns, her parents George Whitfield and Ocie Mae Wheless (Morris), her siblings Raymond, Hugh, Kathleen, Clarice, Olee, and Ruth, her daughter Susan Weaver, and her grandson Keith Glover all passed away before her. She is survived by her daughter Susan Weaver and her grandson Keith Glover. Her daughter Susan Weaver and her grandson Keith Glover are the only members of her family to survive her passing.

She is survived by her children Nancy Glover of Grand Junction, Colorado, Peggy Johns and her husband Marian Tilford, and Joseph Johns and his wife Sharon; her daughter-in-law Tracy Weaver of Manhattan, Kansas; her grandchildren Brad, Ben, Clint (Samantha), Sam (Teresa), Robyn, John, Jim, and Abigail; and her great-grandchildren Samuel, Avery, Tucker, Cooper, Maisie, and Morrison.

She is survived by a great number of cousins, nieces, and nephews, in addition to her direct family members and other relatives. Visitation will be held on September 19th, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, which can be found at 1616 Poyntz Ave in Manhattan, Kansas 66502 (directions). The funeral home is named after the deceased’s family members. A memorial service will be held at the same location on September 20, 2023, at 10 o’clock in the morning. The date and time have not yet been determined.
