Joshua Jackson Obituary, Victims Of Shakespeare Road Shooting Has Been Identified By Police

Joshua Jackson Obituary, Death – Two tragic deaths shook the community on Monday when two men lost their lives in a fatal shooting incident at the 6200 block of Shakespeare Road. Richland County coroner Naida Rutherford confirmed the identities of the victims as 34-year-old Joshua J. Jackson, hailing from Conway, and 40-year-old Eddie A. Boyd, a resident of Sumter.

The distressing incident unfolded in the early hours of the morning, prompting a rapid response from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, who received reports of gunfire at approximately 1 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies were met with a harrowing sight – Jackson and Boyd, both critically injured and bleeding from gunshot wounds, were discovered lying on the sidewalk.

Despite the best efforts of first responders, the situation was dire. Tragically, Joshua J. Jackson succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Eddie A. Boyd, however, was rushed to a local hospital in a desperate bid to save his life. Regrettably, his injuries proved fatal, and he passed away later at the hospital.
