John Mcgill Obituary, Blairsville GA, Family and Friends Mourns

John Mcgill Obituary, Death – Following a brief bout with illness, John J. McGill, age 77, of Bryan, Ohio, died away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 5:40 p.m. at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center – Bryan. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing. John served 11 years as a Deputy Sheriff for Williams County and was also a member of the SCUBA and Search and Recovery team during that time.

He enjoyed working on automobile engines and watching NASCAR in his spare time, and he was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233. John’s life was filled with a variety of challenges, all of which assisted in shaping him into the compassionate, giving, and loving individual he ultimately became. He was the kind of person who would assist anyone who was struggling.

He will be sorely missed in all that we do. John J. McGill, the son of George P. and Anna Belle (Moore) McGill, was born in Montpelier on May 24, 1945. His parents are both named George P. and Anna Belle (Moore). He received his secondary education at Montpelier High School. John weds Judy K. Schindler on February 9, 1985 in Vista, California, and she is still alive after all these years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, John (Cheryl) McGill and Jeff McGill, both of Montpelier, and Joe (Donna Meyer) McGill, of Edgerton; his daughter, Jody (Bill) Allen, also of Montpelier; his stepchildren, Kym Kurtz, of Edgerton, Christine Alwood, of Lake Seneca, Kevin Spangler, of Edgerton, and Denise Norrick, of Montpelier; his grandchildren, Joshua
