Jim Jadin Obituary, Death – Luxemburg resident James “Jim” J. Jadin, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 28, 2023, in the early hours of the morning. Jim Jadin’s parents, Julius and Arlene (Vandervelde) Jadin, died before their son was born on June 13, 1944. Betty Malcore was the bride, and the ceremony was held on September 15, 1962, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lincoln. Jim Jadin owned J. Jadin Inc.
He also served as the Kewaunee County Highway Commissioner for the Kewaunee County Highway Department and was a member of the board of directors of the Bank of Luxemburg. Jim was a devoted Christian who frequently visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help to pay his respects. Jim was quite proud of the prosperous family business he and his son Jerome ran. He always kept the house immaculately clean and organized. His favorite pastimes to do with his family and friends were tractor pulls and hunting.
He wanted to make sure that everyone’s needs were addressed because he was nice and generous. At this point, his labor is complete. I offer him my prayers for eternal peace. Jim’s wife of nearly 61 years, Betty Jadin, survives him, as do his children, Lynn (Brian) Seidl of Luxemburg and Jerome (special friend Debbie) Jadin of Luxemburg; his grandchildren, Sarah (Brent) TeKulve, Brent (Jess) Seidl, Jordan (Madison) Jadin, and Jared (special friend Nicole) Jadin; and his great-grandchildren,
Colton and Kate Sei Winfred and Anna Vandervelde and Fred and Libbie Jadin, his paternal grandparents, died before him. Gary and Jack Jadin, his parents Julius and Arlene Jadin, his brother-in-law Alvin Jorgensen, and his brother Jack Jadin all passed away before he did. additionally, by Norman and Beatrice Malcore, the parents of his future wife. A visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Luxemburg on Monday, September 4, 2023, from 4 to 8 o’clock in the evening.
