Graeme Cox Obituary, Former Resident The Proston Connection Has Died

Graeme Cox Obituary, Death –  It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of former Proston resident, Graeme Cox, who departed from this world on 8th September at the age of 66. Graeme’s ties to Proston ran deep, as he was the second youngest son of Les and Laura Cox, who were longstanding residents of our community. His connection to Proston was a source of pride and affection.

Graeme’s educational journey unfolded entirely in Proston, where he received his schooling. His formative years were spent in our community, and the memories created during that time held a special place in his heart.

Graeme had been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to make the journey from Adelaide to Proston to partake in the Centenary Celebrations, a momentous occasion for our community. Regrettably, illness intervened, preventing him from realizing that cherished journey.

Despite the distance that separated him from Proston, Graeme’s heart remained firmly connected to the town and its people. His desire to be part of the Centenary Celebrations was a testament to the enduring bond he shared with our community.

As we bid farewell to Graeme Cox, we remember him not only as a former resident but also as a cherished member of the Proston family. His legacy lives on in the memories he created during his time here and in the hearts of all who knew him.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Graeme’s family and loved ones during this time of mourning. May Graeme rest in peace, and may his spirit continue to be a part of the rich tapestry of Proston’s history and community.
