Dougie Hearn Obituary, St Mawes Town Regatta Mourns Death Of A Dedicated Member

Dougie Hearn Obituary, Death – The members of the St. Mawes Town Regatta Committee are unable to find any comfort in one another after learning of Dougie Hearn’s demise. Dougie gave the St. Mawes Town Regatta his whole attention for the entirety of his life and made significant contributions to the organization during his career.

Every year, we could find him on the Quay shaking a bucket, assisting with the rowing competitions, and making sure that everyone of us was carrying out our duties in the appropriate manner.  Dougie was elected to the position of Town Regatta President the previous year, and he attended the event this year while proudly wearing the badge he earned for that accomplishment.

This year’s event was held at the same location as the previous year’s. His work was of the finest degree, and as a committee, we couldn’t help but feel delighted by all that he had done due to the fact that his work was of such a high caliber.

Doug will remain in our memories forever not only because he shone brighter than any other star in the community regardless of the circumstances, but also because each and every one of us loved him with all of our hearts. Through it all, Doug was the shining example of excellence that the community looked up to. During this difficult time, we would like Dougie’s family to know that they are in our thoughts and that we are sending them our deepest condolences, as well as our love and support.
