Deward Dale Tabor Obituary, Death –  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deward Dale Tabor, a beloved resident of London, Kentucky. Deward left this world on August 31, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a life well-lived and a man well-loved by his family and friends. Deward was born to Cleamous Tabor (Slim) and Mae Elizabeth Tabor, and he grew up alongside his siblings. Although he is no longer with us, his memory lives on through the stories and the love shared among his loved ones.

Deward was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Harvey Baker, Perry Carlton, Harold, and Robert. Their memory joins his in the hearts of those who knew and loved them. Deward’s life was illuminated by the love of his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Faye Lockaby, who stood by his side through the ups and downs of life. Together, they built a life full of love and companionship.  His children, Kassie (Billy) of Leland, NC, Gary (Tina) of East Bernstadt, and Larry (Heather) of London, were the source of his greatest joy and pride.

Deward’s large and loving family extended beyond his immediate household. He is survived by his siblings, Ollie Depew, Juanita Vaughn, Faye Morelli (Marty), Phyllis Addair (Leonard), Randal (Frances), and Donnie (Faith), all of whom shared a special bond of family and friendship. His sisters-in-law, Gertrude Carlton and Linda Tabor, were also dear to his heart. Additionally, nieces and nephews carry forward the warmth of his love. Visitation to celebrate Deward’s life will be held on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home located at 510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741. A funeral service, a moment to pay our final respects and share our fondest memories, will be held on Monday, September 4th, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the same location.

As we gather to remember Deward Dale Tabor, let us reflect on the love and kindness he brought into the lives of those around him.
