White, age 88, previously of Nola, Mississippi and presently residing in Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the residence of her daughter in Denham Springs.
Louisiana. Ms. Carolyn H. White was originally a resident of Denham Springs, Mississippi. Carolyn Herrington was conceived on December 24th, 1934 in the town of Nola, Mississippi. Earl and Virgie Mae Herrington were her father and mother, respectively. On Monday, September 18, 2023, funeral services will begin at twelve in the afternoon and continue until two in the afternoon.
These services will take place at the Wilson Funeral Home. The funeral home will be the location of the visitation that will take place. Funeral services are scheduled to continue at the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Sontag, Mississippi, once the visitation has concluded. Brother Brad Delaughter will preside over the funeral ceremonies, and the Wilson Funeral Home will be in charge of the preparations for the funeral.
Melinda Tyrone, Theresa Crosby, and Carrie Speights are the children of the parents, John White and Jessie White, respectively. These three women are Carolyn’s children, and they are the ones who carry on her legacy. Carolyn’s brothers Jimmy, Joe, and Ed Herrington, along with her parents, John E. White, Jr., and her husband all passed away before her. She was also predeceased by John E. White, Jr. Ms. White’s favorite hobby was gardening, and she was justifiably proud of her ability to keep plants alive. She began her career as a singer at an early age; in addition to singing, she was a guitarist and sang duets with her brother Ed. She was a natural in the kitchen and loved throwing dinner parties. She had a knack for the culinary arts.
