Bridie Egan Obituary, A Cherished Soul Has Sadly Passed Away

Bridie Egan Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear neighbor, Bridie Egan, from St. Anne’s Guest House in Woodquay. Bridie peacefully departed from this world at 2.30 pm, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Paddy, who preceded her in death.

Bridie is survived by her loving children, Dympna, Patrick, and Michael. In her final weeks, she received exceptional care at Galway University Hospital, a testament to the compassion and dedication of the medical professionals who attended to her.

Remarkably, the Egan family faced a double loss during this challenging time, as Bridie’s brother-in-law, John Joe Egan, also passed away the day before. John Joe had the honor of serving as Bridie’s best man at her wedding, creating a unique and enduring bond between them. Dympna, Bridie’s daughter, fondly recalls the surreal coincidence of both of their loved ones receiving end-of-life care in the same hospital, reflecting on the possibility that perhaps they had hatched this plan together in advance.

During this difficult period, our heartfelt sympathies and condolences go out to the Egan and O’Carroll families. May you find solace in the cherished memories you shared with Bridie and John Joe, and may their spirits continue to bring warmth and comfort to your lives.

As we remember Bridie Egan and John Joe Egan, may their legacies live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them. Their bond, even in their final moments, serves as a reminder of the enduring connections that bring strength and meaning to our lives.
